Formal Logic
Re: Here forth, I Exist
I'm taking a math class called "Formal Logic" from the same guy who taught me philosophy. He's great. Really funny. Also addicted to The Simpsons.
Anyways, "Formal Logic" is a foreign langugae. Also, it has nothing to do with truth. Sort of. Form matters, truth does not.
Okay, I'm going to translate a little. Take the following statement:
If Twim yells at her sister, she will not be driven to school unless her parents make her sister, or Twim apologizes. (Like that's ever going to happen.)
In "Formal Logic:"
A > (P v T)
Note that I was not able to use the character called "Horseshoe" (replaced with '>') because I was not able to located it on the keyboard or in Word.
In conclusion, "Formal Logic" is an interseting but complicated language.
Thank you, I must eat lunch now.
